Compatibility with ultrahdr-core 0.6.0’s published Apple helpers.

These operations preserve first-match EXIF selection, last-readable-value MakerNote selection, malformed-entry tolerance, and the historical numeric interpretation. Use the parent module’s strict operations for validation. No value copies are needed; directory work is bounded by TIFF’s u16 count.
