HEIF Exif item or a JPEG APP1 segment, with any leading TIFF-offset
prefix tolerated).
Walks IFD0 → Exif sub-IFD (0x8769) → MakerNote (0x927C) → Apple iOS
IFD. Returns None if the bytes are not a parseable TIFF, lack an Apple
MakerNote, or carry no HDR tags.
