DriveOptions

Struct DriveOptions

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct DriveOptions { pub max_gap: u64, pub read_size: usize, pub limits: IoLimits, pub work_quota: WorkQuota, }
Expand description

Tuning for the drivers.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§max_gap: u64

Requested ranges closer than this are merged into one read (HTTP: 16–64 KiB).

§read_size: usize

Bytes read per round for a sequential request, on top of the decoder’s minimum.

§limits: IoLimits

Admission for driver-owned input. Defaults to historical unlimited behavior.

§work_quota: WorkQuota

Scheduling quota for async cursors and compute batches, independent of output draining.

Implementations§

Source§

impl DriveOptions

Source

pub const fn new(max_gap: u64, read_size: usize) -> Self

Options with the given coalescing gap and sequential read size.

Source

pub const fn with_limits(self, limits: IoLimits) -> Self

Apply input admission to synchronous and asynchronous drivers alike.

Source

pub const fn with_work_quota(self, quota: WorkQuota) -> Self

Bound uninterrupted async work without coupling it to destination reads.
