Discard

Struct Discard

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct Discard { pub start: Option<FrameDuration>, pub end: Option<FrameDuration>, }
Expand description

Decoded media to drop from one packet’s output: padding the encoder added (WebM DiscardPadding, the end of an Opus or AAC stream).

Carried untouched by demuxers, muxers and stream copies, and applied once, by the decoder adapter configured from the track. A container that can record only one side (WebM: a positive DiscardPadding trims the end, a negative one the start) refuses a packet that needs both rather than dropping one.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§start: Option<FrameDuration>

Media to drop from the start of the packet’s output.

§end: Option<FrameDuration>

Media to drop from the end of the packet’s output.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Discard

Source

pub const fn start(d: FrameDuration) -> Self

Drop d from the start of the packet’s output.

Source

pub const fn end(d: FrameDuration) -> Self

Drop d from the end of the packet’s output.

Source

pub const fn with_end(self, d: FrameDuration) -> Self

Also drop d from the end.
