Expand description

How much of one strip or tile the decoder reads.

Fields§

§used: Option<u64>

Leading bytes the decoder reads; the rest of the declared length is a Dropped tail. None when the end is not found (compressed data without a count-only reader).

§tail: &'static str

What the tail is, for its detail.

§note: Option<String>

A remark for the chunk’s detail.

§past_count: bool

The decoder reads used bytes whatever the declared length, so a shorter declared length is read past (image-tiff reads uncompressed data by row size).

§covered: bool

Another chunk’s extent already covers this one (a decoder reading every row from the first strip): not listed on its own.

§unread: Option<&'static str>

The decoder never reads this chunk: listed alone as Skipped, why.

§unknown: Option<&'static str>

What the decoder reads of this chunk was not worked out (a budget ran out): listed alone as Unknown, why.
